Clean up your Spreadsheet and Re-Upload

You can easily clean up your contact data by only including the columns you wish to keep and renaming the column headers in your csv/xls file to match the SphereTargeting fields, as seen in the example below.  Delete unneeded or empty columns by highlighting the column header.  Once finished, re-import your contacts using the cleaned up spreadsheet.

Review all Matched Fields Carefully to Ensure Proper Matches

Your contact matches will be widely determined by the column header names in your spreadsheet.  For example, on the summary page, "With Emails" will be summarize based on the "Email" field matches.  If your column headers and the SphereTargeting fields do not match, it is possible your summary statistics may be inaccurate.  Therefore, it is important to make sure you take the time to review your matches prior to completing the import.  If there is no appropriate field match, be sure to select DO NOT IMPORT from the drop down field menu to prevent confusion.

To be sure a field will be included, there will be one of two icons next to it for confirmation:  If the field has a green checkmark next to it, it will be included in your import.  A red warning icon indicates that that field will not be included.
